Living Meditation Class
Learn how to be present, honor yourself and others, & navigate life’s challenges with more ease.
This class offers an opportunity to dive deeply into the thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations that arise and may be causing stress, physical pain, insomnia, depression, anxiety, etc. Participants are guided as they learn how to notice and re-create conditions in the mind and body that reveal the ease, joy, laughter, contentment, hope, compassion, and sense of well-being that is always there but stifled by expectations for themselves and others.
A safe space is cultivated and held by the practitioner to support students as they develop mind-body skills through gentle movement, guided meditation, and the use of mindfulness to shape perceptions that are limiting their sense of mental and physical ease. Students are offered home practices in-between sessions to strengthen their mindfulness tools. A brief reflection of weekly practices with this small community of individuals supports the growth and development of these mind-body skills. Sharing is optional.
This class is appropriate for all, including those with chronic pain, amputations, and those in wheelchairs. Modifications will be provided to meet individual needs. This is not for yoga practitioners seeking a more exercise-based class. This class is for folks who want to empower themselves to create how they want to feel regardless of whatever circumstances are arising.
The cost of this class is $15 per class. Students receive 1 hour of direct contact, a follow up email to guide in home practices, and partial or full recordings of classes, depending on what modalities are used. Participants must enroll for the entire month and ahead of time due to a limited class size of 12. Participating for the month supports community and a deeper practice. You never miss a class, even if you are not present because the recordings are sent to you. Payment will be collected on the first day of class each month.

Qi Gong Class
Feel into gentle, mindful movement and witness how it brings the the mind, body, & spirit into alignment.
Create more energy and feel less stress with this ancient yet practical practice.
Qi Gong is ancient Chinese medicine. Qi means energy. Gong means work. When we work the energy of the body we realize that we always have the energy we need to feel vibrant and healthy. It simply needs to be awoken. This practice has been used for thousands of years to heal the mind, body, and spirit. This mindful movement practice engages the energy systems of the body, clearing life diminishing energy and creating radiant energy that renews and restores. Practice and feel how various movements enliven and/or bring the mind and body into a state of ease. Learn techniques that you can take with you anywhere to help you cultivate the energy to fuel your life.
This class is appropriate for all, including those with chronic pain, amputations, and those in wheelchairs. Modifications will be provided to meet individual needs. Movement can be practiced standing and seated. In fact, no movement is necessary to benefit from the practice. If you simply hear, visualize, and feel you will sense the benefits of this easy to learn, gentle, & powerful practice. Students receive 1 hour of instruction, including a short meditation to close the practice.
The cost of this class is $12 per class when individuals sign up for the month. The studio holds 12 individuals. If you are interested in securing your space and/or you want to commit to a weekly practice of self-care you can enroll for the month. If you are going to miss a class you can gift your space to another person of your choosing. Payment will be collected on the first day of class each month for this option.
I AM CURRENTLY WELCOMING DROP-INS AT $15 PER CLASS for the general public. Drop-ins & monthly sessions for seniors, veterans, and spouses of veterans are $10 per class. (seniors are considered to be 62 years+). If you are an active client of mine, classes are $10 per class for drop-ins and monthly sessions in order to support the work that you are currently doing with me. *An active client is enrolled in the Living Meditation class for that month, has paid for me to be on retainer, or is seeing me during the month that they are also taking Qi Gong classes.

April 2019: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, monthly package: $48 ($40 for seniors, veterans, & spouses of veterans)
May 2019: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, monthly package: $60 ($50 for seniors, veterans, & spouses of veterans)
June 2019: 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, monthly package: $48 ($40 for seniors, veterans, & spouses of veterans)
CREATE YOUR OWN CLASS
Gather a few friends, colleagues, family members, or individuals facing similar physical, mental, and/or emotional obstacles to being at ease and schedule a class with me.
Let me know if there is a goal for the group and if there is a specific condition that all in the group share and I will tailor the class to meet your needs. (stress reduction, cancer, high blood pressure, insomnia, anxiety, depression, etc.) Otherwise, it will be a general class.
Max 10 people
$75 per class (1 hour) for classes up to 6 people. $12 extra per person for classes over 6. *Classes may be extended upon request ($20 for each additional quarter hour).
